In 1997 Ms. Fodina has completed the course of medical faculty of the Latvian Medical Academy. In 1997-1999 she finished the courses at the International Academy of Post-diploma Education in St. Petersburg receiving speciality of obstetrician-gynaecologist. Since 2001 Mrs. Fodina completed post-diploma education at the University of P. Stradins and got speciality of “Obstetrics and Gynaecology”.
In 2003 she studied at the courses of post-diploma education “Ultrasonography in gynaecology and prenatal fetus diagnostics”. In 2005-2007 received Master’s degree in entrepreneurship management and administration and was acknowledged as the best master of
2007 in this area. Since 2004 Mrs. Fodina holds position of the director of AVA CLINIC, where she performs active medical practice and scientific work. She has the knowledge of all modern principles and approaches to infertility treatment and specializes in treatment of female infertility, caused by endocrinal factor, as well as infertility of married couples with male factor of infertility. She sees the main mission of AVA CLINIC and its personnel in overcoming infertility problem and providing for the birth of a healthy child. Mrs. Fodina is a
Member of Latvian Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (LGDSA), member of European Association of Human Reproductology Embryology (ESHRE), and since 2009 – representative of Latvia in European Assisted Conception Consortium, organization, which adopts EU Tissue and Cell Directive and quality systems in IVF clinics.
Every year Mrs. Fodina participates in various international conferences.
In 1998 Mr. Lakutin completed studies at the medical faculty of Latvian Medical Academy. In 1998-2002 he received post-diploma education in residentura of the University of P. Stradins in speciality “Obstetrics and Gynaecology”.
Since 2008 Mr. Lakutin has been taking a course at the doctorate of the University of P. Stradins and now he is an applicant for degree of Doctor of Medicine in the area of obstetrics and gynaecology. Since 2002 he works as gynaecologist and treats infertility by methods of artificial fertilization. He is a member of AVA-CLINIC’s personnel since 2005. The field of his activities includes consultations in gynaecologic matters and conduct of pregnancy, operative gynaecology, performance of endoscopic operations and operations of artificial fertilization in treatment of infertility.
Mr. Lakutin is a Member of Latvian Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (LGDSA), member of European Association of Human Reproductology Embryology (ESHRE). He actively and on a regular basis participates in international conferences and congresses. In 2003 he followed the course of post-diploma education “Ultrasonography in gynaecology and prenatal fetus diagnostics”.
In 2006 he took the course “Reproductive auxiliary technologies in male infertility” in Prague. In 2008 he finished the course of professional development “Ultrasonography in gynaecology and reproductive medicine” in London and training course “Early pregnancy” in Barcelona.
In 1995 Ms. Brikune completed studies at the medical faculty of Latvian Medical Academy. In 1999 she received post-diploma education in the University of P. Stradins, speciality of obstetrician-gynaecologist. In 2005 Mrs. Brikune finished courses in the higher school “Turiba” in law.
Since 2005 she is employed in AVA CLINIC as doctor gynaecologist-reproductologist. She also works at the Hospital of P. Stradins as doctor obstetrician-gynaecologist. And since 2004 she also works as doctor expert in Public Health Inspection. Mrs. Brikune has a great clinical experience in pregnancy management, treatment of gynecologic diseases, she actively employs methods of extracorporal fertilization in her practice.
She is a Member of Latvian Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (LGDSA), member of European Association of Human Reproductology Embryology (ESHRE). During her employment she finished courses of professional development in speciality “Obstetrics and Gynaecology”, courses of professional development in problems of infertility and methods of extracorporal fertilization, noncarrying of pregnancies. Currently Mrs. Brikune works on problems of infertility and observation of pregnancy. She devotes herself to matters of diagnostics and treatment of gynaecologic pathologies.

From 1996 to 1999 Mr. Mitildzan received post-diploma education in residentura of the University of P. Stradins, speciality of gynaecologist-oncologist.
Since 2006 he is employed in AVA-CLINIC as a gynaecologist-oncologist. Since 1996 Mr. Mitildzan works in Latvian Oncology Centre, where he conducts operations in the field of gynaecology-oncology. The area of his activities includes consulting in diagnostics matters, as well as treatment of oncological diseases.
He devotes special attention to detection of precancerous diseases and their timely treatment. Member of Latvian Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (LGDSA) and of Latvian Association of Oncologists. Mr. Mitildzan regularly and actively participates in international conferences and congresses. In 2003 he finished the course of post-diploma education “Ultrasonography in obstetrics and gynaecology”. In 2001 Mr. Mitildzan completed the course “Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy in gynaecology”.
In 2006 she completed studies a the medical faculty of University of P. Stradins. Since 2005 she is employed in AVA CLINIC as doctor gynaecologist. Continue her professional education in the specialty obstetrician - gynaecologist in residency at the University of P. Stradins. Member of the Latvian Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She combines improving skills with scientific work. Since 2006, an assistant on the chair of the morphology University of P. Stradins. The sphere of interest of scientific work carried out in doctorate of University P. Stradins - embryo implantation and further development of the pregnancy. Regularly participates in international scientific and practical conferences, seminars, programes of experience exchanging.
In 2004 Ms. Dundure completed studies at the faculty of biology in the University of Latvia. In 2005-2006 she received Master’s degree at the University of Bremen. In 2007 Mrs. Dundure received Master’s degree in the University of Latvia. Since 2007 she is employed in AVA CLINIC as biologist-embryologist, as well as sperm bank manager.
She is a Member of EACC, member of European Association of Human Reproductology Embryology (ESHRE), member of Alpha Scientists. During employment Mrs. Dundure finished courses of professional development in embryology matters in Tampere, as well as practical course in vitrification (MediCult). She is one of the few specialists in Latvia, who have certificate of sperm analysis with strict Krueger criteria.
Currently she knows all methods of artificial fertilization: IVF ICSI, blastocyst cultivation, AHA, freezing and defrosting of embryos and genetic material, vitrification. Mrs. Dundure develops and introduces quality system in embryological laboratories and has certificate of Quality Management Representative. She constantly follows new relevant methods and technologies in the area of reproductology.
In 1991 Ms. Bazarova completed studies at the faculty of biology in the University of Latvia.
Since 2005 she is an employee at AVA CLINIC as biologist-embryologist. Ms. Bazarova is a Member of European Association of Human Reproductology Embryology (ESHRE), member of Alpha Scientists in reproductive medicine. During employment she completed courses of professional development in matters of artificial fertilization methods in St. Petersburg, as well as practical course in vitrification (MediCult).
Mrs. Bazarova currently knows all methods of artificial fertilization: IVF ICSI, blastocyst cultivation, AHA, freezing and defrosting of embryos and genetic material, vitrification. Her field of scientific interests includes study and implementation of various methods of rapid freezing of ovocytes, embryos and blastocysts.
In 2005, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the Latvian State University. At the present time, continues his studies in Master's program. Since 2009 he has been working as a laboratory in the AVA CLINIC. Member of the European Association of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Actively learns all methods of artificial fertilization. The main point considers rigorous approach and attitude to work, that skills and experience obtained in the process of studies, based on the quality standards of IVF laboratories, use for achieving maximum results in the furture.
In 1997 Ms. Miklasevica completed Medical College of P. Stradins. Since she is 2007 employed at AVA CLINIC as a nurse, since 2008 she holds position of a head nurse. She is a Member of Latvian Nurse Association and certified surgery nurse and she has great working experience in the field of surgery.
Mrs. Miklasevica finished courses of professional development for nurses in surgical profile. According to her, the most important part of her work is providing psychological support to patients during their treatment. As a head nurse, she devotes much of her time to training young specialists.
In 2008 Ms. Dore has completed Medical College of P. Stradins.
Since 2008 she is employed at AVA CLINIC as a nurse.
She is a Member of Latvian Nurse Association.
Mrs. Dore believes her most important function is seeing to that the patient correctly understands doctor’s instructions.
In 1992 Ms. Kovalenko completed Medical College No. 5 and received speciality of children’s nurse. Since 2005 she is employed at AVA CLINIC as a nurse. Mrs. Kovalenko is a Member of Latvian Nurse Association.
She constantly develops her professional knowledge in order to provide quality medical assistance to patients.
In 2008 Ms. Martinova received Master’s degree in translation at the Higher School of Practical Psychology in Riga. Since 2006 she is employed at AVA CLINIC as an administrator. She takes charge of systematization, as well as introduction and development of medical information system “Medialog” in IVF clinics. Practical experience, knowledge of languages helps her to work with foreign patients.
In 2004 Ms. Runce completed the higher professional education at the Baltic International Academy.
Since 2007 she is employed in AVA CLINIC as an administrator.
She believes that her main task is to create benevolent atmosphere for patients, so that they feel comfortable and receive all necessary information.
In 2008 Ms. Snajarova joined the faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at Latvian University, her specialization being social teacher.
In 2008 completed Master's degree in enterpreneurship at the High School of Informational System.
The main in her work conciders the understanding that everyone, regardless of qualification and position, contributes to the common case, makes his work qualitatively and with total efficiency.
In 2005 Ms. Silkalna has received higher special education in the Medical College. Since 2006 she is employed at AVA CLINIC as a nurse, and since 2008 she holds position of a coordinator. She helps foreign patients understand correctly medical aspects, related to the process of their treatment, as well as provides psychological support to families, awaiting treatment.
In 1989 Ms. Semaskene has completed studies at the University of Latvia and received Bachelor’s degree in the faculty of economics and accounting. Since 2004 she is employed at AVA CLINIC as chief accountant
In 1996 completed Medical College of the Children’s Clinical Hospital of Riga in specialty of a children’s nurse.
In 2002 received Bachelor’s degree in social sciences and qualification of a practical psychologist in the International Institute of Practical Psychology.
In 2006-2008 received post-diploma education in the International Institute of Integrative Psychology (Yaroslavl).
Since 2005 works as a psychologist and is actively occupied with problems of family and age and psychological consulting.

Since 2006 is employed in AVA CLINIC as a psychologist and is author of practical course of psychological preparation for birth and parenthood for married couples. As well as engaged in scientific activities in fields of psychological preparation for birth for women, children’s psychology and psychology of maternity, as well as problems of psychological malfunctions of female reproductive system functions.
Actively participates in various international conferences and workshops.
Currently is an applicant for degree of candidate to Doctor of Psychology.
In 1990 Ms. Vikaine completed studies at the faculty of paediatrics of Latvian Medical Academy. In 1991 she received post-diploma education at the University of P. Stradins, speciality of paediatrician-neonatologist.
Since 2006 she is employed in AVA CLINIC as doctor paediatrician. She also works in maternity department of the hospital as doctor neonatologist. She has a great clinical experience in observation of newborn children, vaccination and is a consultant in breast feeding. Mrs. Vikaine is
a Member of Latvian Association of Paediatricians and of Association of Neonatologists. She devotes much of her working time to study matters, related to nutrition of children, breast feeding and to a correct additional feeding for children below one year.

In 1991 received post-diploma education in the State University of Vilnius on the medical faculty. Startedfrom 2009 has been worked in AVA clinic as an ultrasound specialist.
