AVA Clinic Riga has its own eggs donors. There are sufficient donors in our data base. We can match you a donor as soon as we receive Your wishes according to criteries of possible donor. According to Latvian law, all our donors are anonymous that is why a recipient can receive only criteries of possible donor.
To increase coincidence between You and eggs donor we collect very carefull anamnesis and criteries of donor. There are more than 15 criteries in our form. We will send You all information about the possible donor by email and when You accept this donor we will reserve it for You. But in case You do not accept the donor, we will send You new donor’s information.
• One donor - one recipient:
We don’t share eggs with several recipients. We have only one recipient for one donor. All oocytes which are received from the donor mean only for one recipient.We can use 1 or 2 embryos at one embryo transfer and other emrbyos we can freeze for the next time.
• Daily contact with our coordinators:
We understand that it is a very important step in Your life to have egg donation treatment. Definitely You will have lots of questions during this time that is why we offer You to contact our coordinators to receive all information and answers on Your questions concerning Your treatment. • Increasing clinical pregnancy rate:
There was an increasing clinical pregnancy rate in fresh 2 embryo transfer on 5th day in blastocyste stage in 2009. Extended culture of embryos to the blastocyst stage is a method that is used in fertilization treatment. More information is available about the vitality of the embryos. In usual treatments the embryos are cultured for 2-3 days after the fertilization.
The embryos can be divided into 4-8 cells before the transfer to the uterus. At this stage the selection of the most vital embryos from all embryos of good quality may be difficult. In extended culture the embryos are cultured for 4-5 days prior to the transfer to the uterus. At this stage, the embryo has already more than one hundred cells, and it is at either the morula or blastocyst stage at the moment of transfer.
• Sucess in frozen embryo transfer:
In 2009 we had an increasing success rate in frozen embryo transfer made assisted hatching of embryos. Assisted hatching of embryo is a method of artificial opening of the embryo membrane which may improve the implantation of the embryo onto the endometrium of the uterus.
It can be done both in IVF and ICSI treatments as well as in frozen embryo transfers. The embryo develops and divides into over a hundred cells surrounded by embryo membrane called zone.
• The first consultation is not neccessari:
If You have Your local doctor who will be able to help You in egg donation treatment. You can start Your treatment without first consulation with our doctor. Please check local if your doctor can help you do all necessary analyses (HIV, Siphiliss, Hepatites B and C), ultrasound examination during Your treatment and prescribe you neccessary medicine.
