AVA CLINIC is an innovator

In terms of introducing new reproductive medicine and infertility treatment services and technologies to the region, AVA CLINIC was the first centre in the Baltic and Northern European countries to:

  • use vitrification to freeze embryos and eggs;
  • perform egg freezing procedures (including for cancer patients);
  • offer patients the option to culture embryos in the GERI incubator, an integrated embryo development video monitoring system, which also has the distinctive feature of providing separate "rooms" for embryos;
  • undergo fertility treatment using donor eggs;
  • perform preimplantation genetic testing of embryos for aneuploidy via PGS with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS);
  • offer patients dual control and monitoring with the RI-Witness system.
