SPECIALTY: Gynecologist–reproductologist, medical director. Works at AVA CLINIC since 2005. Gynecologist praxis, surgical gynecologist, monitoring of pregnancy, endoscopic surgery, artificial fertilization.

Education: Jaroslavs Lakutins obtained his medical degree in 1998 and the speciality degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002 at the Hospital Clínic – Stradinsh University of Riga, Latvia. Since his graduation from residency programme in 2002, he has been working in the field of reproductive medicine.

In 2005 he joined the Fertility and Assisted Reproduction Unit of AVA Clinic, where he is currently working. He is now continuing his research doctorate on assisted reproduction at the Stradinsh University of Riga under supervision of Professor I.Viberg.

His primary interests are in the hormonal control of endometrial receptivity. Current clinical research interests include studies on endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation.

At present he is the medical director of AVA Clinic in Riga, Latvia. He is the member of Latvian Association of Gynecologists and Specialists of Obstetrics (LGDSA), Baltic Fertility Society (BFS), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Frequently attends international conferences, congresses and further improves his qualification.

He is author or co-author of more than 10 publications in Latvian and international refereed medical journals.
